This unit is quiet. It doesn't rattle, whine, or make much noise, unless winds really get high, then you may hear it. At Wind-Inc., our "kit" has a monopole, as you can see by the photo it has a good clean, sleek, appearance. The advantage of a monopole is that children, birds, and vandals are less likely to try to get up on it and it causes less wind noise than other units on the market.
