This wind turbine is a powerhouse, rated to produce 85 Kw per hour, 2054 Kw per day, (750 MegaWatts per year) at 16.5 miles per hour wind speed, or at 18 mph wind speed 940 MEGAWATTS per year.

THIS PRODUCT IS MANUFACTURED IN HOLLAND, AND HAS BEEN IN USE, PROVEN FOR OVER 20 YEARS. THESE UNITS HAVE PROVEN RELIABILITY THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

We calculated that this turbine can save electricity costs, in average wind conditions, estimated at $131,640 per year. In areas with good wind, such as west Texas, this unit can produce $250,000 per year in electricity. This would provide a hard cash pay back of the unit in 6 to 7 years. This does not include other tax, energy credit or other benefits that the owner will enjoy. If your winds are better, the payback takes less time. But, considering that the U.S. Government is providing a 30% ITC or "Grant", then the payback is reduced considerably. (Also remember you may get carbon credits and an additional cash bonus for Cap and Trade).

Plus, if used for "business" or "agriculture" the unit may qualify for accelerated depreciation. Thus an additional $300,000+ in deductions and credits. If you are a city, county or public entity you may qualify for a U.S. Govt or State grant.

The USDA REAP program, will give a 25% grant, and a guaranteed loan for 15 to 20 years, for all but 25%. So, on a $1,000,000 purchase, you would get a grant for $250,000, a 20 year loan gty for $500,000 and only have to put up $250,000.

This item has been popular in Europe and Canada to power dairy operations, larger agricultural applicatons, industrial, prison, hotel, municipal and provides power in remote locations. Of course the unit can be connected to the grid as well. The option is also available to integrate an additional diesel generator, thus, even if in a remote area with no grid, constant power is available. It may be the lowest cost to maintain unit in the world, for it's size, and requires only 2 inspections a year, with annual O& M of $3,500.
